Kwikset Kevo Convert Smart Lock Conversion Kit - Venetian Bronze

Kevo Convert allows you to transform your existing deadbolt into a smart lock in just minutes. By keeping your current deadbolt and making it smarter, Kevo Convert protects your home with the latest security technology. The Venetian Bronze finish is hand-rubbed to reveal unique bronze highlights, providing a rich and warm complement to the product's style.

Kevo Convert now works with Alexa voice commands (requires the Kevo Plus hub, sold separately). You can lock/unlock your door (with a PIN) and check the lock status using voice commands.

Kevo Convert is compatible with a variety of standard deadbolts, including those from Kwikset, Weiser, Baldwin, and Schlage. If you have a standard deadbolt installed separately from the handle below it, Kevo Convert will be compatible.

Kevo Convert is compatible with a wide range of Android and iOS devices. On Android, it works with Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 5X/6/6P/9, HTC One M9, and select Samsung Galaxy models. On iOS, it's compatible with iPhone 4s and later, as well as various iPad and iPod Touch models. Kwikset is continuously expanding Android device compatibility, rigorously testing each model to ensure the best user experience.

Starting February 1, 2017, Kevo eKeys will be available completely free of charge. Kevo Convert allows you to lock and unlock your door within Bluetooth range using your compatible smart device.

For remote access, the Kevo Plus Connected Hub (sold separately for $99) enables you to lock or unlock your door from anywhere. Kevo Convert also works with Alexa voice commands when used with the Kevo Plus hub.

Kevo Convert is not compatible with the touch-to-open Kevo 2 Smart Lock. However, it offers smart home integration with Amazon Alexa, Ring Doorbell, Skybell, Nest Learning Thermostat, select Honeywell Thermostats, Android Wear, and IFTTT.

The Kevo app allows you to lock or unlock your door, send digital eKeys, and track home access from your compatible iOS or Android smartphone. Kevo Convert also features an optional auto-lock function that will secure your door 30 seconds after unlocking, providing an extra layer of safety and peace of mind.
