The SmartCode touchscreen smart lock with Home Connect technology enables the lock to wirelessly communicate with other devices in the home. Through a web-enabled device, the user can remotely check the door lock status, lock or unlock the door, and receive notifications. SmartCode is a one-touch locking motorized deadbolt.

With a personalized code, homeowners can enjoy the convenience of keyless entry, and the back-lit keypad provides increased visibility. The lock features patented SecureScreen™ technology to prevent code detection from fingerprints on the touchscreen. SmartCode is easy to install, program, and use, and operates on 4 AA batteries. It also features SmartKey Security as the back-up keyway.

This single-cylinder deadbolt can be locked or unlocked by using the keypad or key from the outside, as well as the turn button from the inside. The lock is compatible with Zigbee panels and hubs, including Amazon Echo Plus, Echo 2020 (4th Gen), Echo Show 10, SmartThings Hub v3, Tuya Zigbee 3.0 Hub, Abode, and Wink. It will also work with existing Zigbee HA 1.2 panels and hubs.

Before installation, users should measure their door's backset, cross bore, and thickness to ensure the right fit. The SmartCode lock offers up to 30 customizable user codes for family and friends, providing flexible access control. The lock is also BHMA Grade 2 certified, making it suitable for use on exterior doors where keyed entry and security are needed.

Additionally, the SmartCode lock features SmartKey Security, which protects against advanced break-in techniques and allows users to re-key the lock themselves in seconds, enhancing the overall security of the home.
